This delicate, calming tea is very soothing for sore throats, coughs, and restless stomachs. Sweet, mild and aromatic, this pleasant tea can help repair the lining of the digestive tract which makes it beneficial to those with eczema or other skin conditions.
Our ancestors used to cook the roots of the marshmallow plant with honey or sugar to give to their children for sore throats and tummy aches, thus giving the name to the modern day, sweet sticky treat we know as marshmallows (although not related!)
