This is our delicious take on Masala Chai which literally means “spice tea”.

Oolong tea, also known as “black dragon tea” for the way the long leaves curl and twist, combines with delicious herbs and spices. Not only is chai delicious, but it has many health benefits as well. This tea contains dozens of antiviral compounds and provides free radical protection due to a high level of antioxidants.

(designed and taste-tested with the help of my son, Milo who loves spicy flavors!)

100% organic: oolong tea leaves (Camellia Sinensis), turmeric rhizome (Curcuma longa), ginger rhizome (Zingiber officinale), cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum verum), orange peel (Citrus sinensis), black pepper (Piper nigrum), star anise (Illicium verum), cardamom seed (Elettaria cardamomum), fennel seed (Foeniculum vulgare), clove bud (Syzygium aromaticum)

Directions: bring 1 cup of water to boil, add 2 teaspoons of herbs, reduce heat to a slow simmer and cover. Continue to simmer for 10 minutes. Strain and enjoy with honey and milk of choice. OR simmer your herbs in the milk itself, instead of water for a creamy smooth chai!
